Senior Salesforce Project Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Project Manager to lead a large-scale Salesforce modernization and optimization initiative. This role will coordinate business and technical stakeholders across multiple work streams and provide overall project planning, governance, risk management, and delivery oversight.

The Project Manager will oversee the engagement from planning and discovery through development, testing, deployment, and transition, working with distributed onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities Lead project planning, execution, tracking, and overall delivery across multiple Salesforce work streams.

Manage project scope, priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA, analysts, and release teams.

Maintain integrated project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, and other key governance artifacts.

Facilitate project meetings, executive updates, planning sessions, and decision-making.

Manage scope changes and communicate impacts to timelines, resources, cost, and delivery.

Coordinate testing, release readiness, deployment, hypercare, and transition activities.

Track project financials, resource utilization, and delivery forecasts.

Identify risks and delivery constraints early and escalate when appropriate.

Ensure project activities align with established security, architecture, compliance, and release-governance standards.

Salesforce Work streams The Project Manager may oversee initiatives across areas such as:

Salesforce platform modernization

Data storage and archival

Apex and trigger modernization

Flow and automation modernizationQA and test automation

Environment management and data masking

Release and deployment readiness

Required Qualifications 7+ years of Project Management experience supporting complex enterprise technology initiatives.

Demonstrated experience leading Salesforce programs, implementations, or platform modernization initiatives.

Strong experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.

Experience coordinating distributed onshore and offshore teams.

Working knowledge of Salesforce environments, automation, Apex, Flow, releases, and testing.

Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Experience managing Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Ability to translate technical risks and dependencies into clear business and executive-level communication.

Preferred Qualifications Salesforce modernization or transformation experience.

Familiarity with Salesforce CI/CD, automated testing, data management, and release processes.

Experience working in large or regulated enterprise environments.

PMP, Scrum/Agile, or Salesforce certifications.

Experience managing complex programs with formal scope and change-control processes.

Risks, dependencies, and changes are identified and managed proactively.

Business and technical teams remain aligned throughout delivery.

Releases meet established quality and governance requirements.

Stakeholders have clear visibility into project status, risks, decisions, and forecasts.
