Master Data Analyst

Primary Focus:
Execute, Maintain & Support Master Data Operations

The MDM Data Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation, and support of master data across enterprise systems. This role ensures master data is accurate , complete, and available to support business operations while partnering closely with the Data Governance Specialist to drive continuous improvement and adherence to governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, maintain , and retire master data records in accordance with established procedures and service level expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day master data requests, inquiries, and issue resolution.
• Review and validate master data transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established business rules.
• Analyze data issues and work with business stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and operational challenges.
• Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and maintenance activities to support data quality objectives .
• Execute mass data updates, system data loads, and data migration activities.
• Monitor data queues and workflow requests to ensure timely processing and resolution.
• Partner with business users to understand master data requirements and provide guidance on data-related processes.
• Support new product introductions, acquisitions, system implementations, and business initiatives requiring master data setup or changes.
• Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities related to master data processes and systems.
• Document procedures, process changes, and operational work instructions.
• Identify recurring data issues and elevate root cause trends to the Data Governance Specialist for long-term resolution.
• Support reporting, data analysis, and audit requests related to master data activities.
