Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee Building & Infrastructure projects and the project team. Projects may vary between private and public owners, utilizing delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Construction Manager s managerial role involves managing projects, leading teams, and handling project financials, schedules, risk management, quality, and client relationships. Reporting to the General Manager or Vice President, the Project Manager also manages contracts and work orders.
Assigned Responsibilities:

- Foster a collaborative and team-oriented project environment.
- Manage the entire project scope, including scheduling, procurement, quality, and safety.
- Participate in preconstruction activities such as estimating and value engineering.
- Supervise Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Construction Interns assigned to contracts or work orders.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers to find alternative solutions.
- Monitor Superintendent performance on contracts and work orders.
- Serve as the primary contact for project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, and engineers.
- Understand detailed project scope of work.
- Maintain project cost reports and negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
- Document and negotiate changes affecting project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners.
- Develop field quality assurance and quality control plans with Superintendents.
- Coordinate project safety plans with Superintendents.
- Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements and EEO/Affirmative Action contract requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering and/or 5-10 years of construction experience.
- Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Construction Manager at Risk.
- Experience in healthcare, education, municipal, and suburban markets is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in Project Management Software; scheduling software experience is a plus.
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
