We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Platform Used Car Director to oversee used vehicle operations across three brands:
Hyundai, Genesis, and Mazda
. This role is responsible for driving profitability, inventory strategy, operational excellence, and team performance across all used car departments within the platform.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven success in high-volume used car operations, data-driven decision-making, and cross-brand management.
What You’ll Do- Oversee all used vehicle operations across Hyundai, Genesis, and Mazda rooftops
- Develop and execute inventory acquisition, pricing, and merchandising strategies
- Manage used car profitability, including gross, turn, and aging metrics
- Partner with General Managers, Sales Managers, and F&I leaders to align goals and execution
- Ensure compliance with all dealership, OEM, and regulatory standards
- Analyze performance reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Lead, coach, and develop used car management teams to drive accountability and results
- Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to optimize online presence and lead conversion
- Maintain a strong focus on customer experience and CSI performance
- 5+ years of experience in used car management (multi-store or platform experience required)
- Proven track record of driving used car profitability and inventory efficiency
- Strong understanding of market-based pricing, sourcing, and merchandising tools
- Experience working with multiple brands and varying customer segments
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
