We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator in Wood Products to join our team. The ideal candidate is resourceful, motivated, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines to machine materials by engineered specifications and job orders.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job tickets to determine dimensions and cutting parameters.
- Configure, calibrate, and manage feeds and speeds to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and performance standards.
- Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment functionality.
- Maintain accurate production and quality logs, including machine actions and performance data.
- Verify that finished components meet required qty and quality expectations.
- Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Entry level is acceptable for training purposes. Experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, tooling, and setup.
- Proficient in MPR programming and G Code machining technology (preferred).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Comfortable working overtime and weekends as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive work ethic.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with variable temperatures.
