** Material Handler, 2nd shif
** t. Working under general supervision, this role is actively involved in material movements in a warehouse environment. Duties may include loading trailers, unloading trailers, processing receiving and put away, cycle counting, de-crating, picking KTE carts, and may use material handling equipment such as forklifts and stretch wrappers.
** What You’ll Work On
*** Understands material movement/inventory levels and completes timely processing of assigned tasks.
* Processes stock transfers, material requests and put-away. Loads and/or unloads trucks as required.
* May operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or other equipment with appropriate training and/or certification.
* May assist and train associates with on-the-job training.
* Understands and uses the ERP system for material management activity. Utilizes root cause analysis to research material movement and resolve discrepancies.
* Performs cycle counting.
* Participates in continuous improvement initiatives which include warehouse material flow systems and procedures.
* Seeks efficiency in system and process gaps and elevates awareness to management.
* Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration. Promotes a positive work environment.
* Participate in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, ISO Standards as defined by supervisor.
* Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements. Serves on safety, quality and other committees, if applicable.
* Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.
** Required Qualifications
*** High School Diploma/ GED
* Minimum 2 years of experience
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred.
