NICU Registered Nurse in Irving, TX

Providing specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) demands experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses. This opportunity involves working a contract position in the NICU, supporting critically ill and premature infants through advanced nursing practices in a dynamic hospital setting located in Irving, TX.

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to NICU patients, including monitoring and administering treatments using specialized equipment such as Nasal Cannulas, Bubble CPAP, Vents, Oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, Warmers, and Isolettes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including LVNs, Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Externs to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using electronic health record systems
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including three 12‑hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends and holidays
• Participate in floating assignments when necessary, providing care in related units such as PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with NICU nursing experience
• Proficiency in utilizing NICU‑specific medical equipment and technology
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills to effectively manage patient care
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and multidisciplinary environment

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
• Rotating weekends and holidays
