About the Role :As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the Health Care Services industry, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician and nurse practitioner. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and support. You will be instrumental in monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic medical procedures, all while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about health management and wellness, fostering a supportive environment for recovery. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact the overall health outcomes and satisfaction of the patients you serve.
- Current and valid LVN license in the state of TX.
- Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in Orthopedics and / or a hospital or surgical facility setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in patient education initiatives, helping patients and families understand treatment plans and health management.
