LVN; Licensed Vocational Nurse

The Villages on Mac Arthur, Irving, TX, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with skilled nursing supervisory experience to join our team.

As an LVN, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care, ensuring the highest quality services in a customer‑service‑friendly environment. • Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluate staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify and secure equipment supplies.
• Direct and oversee subordinates.
• Participate in duty assignments.
• Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversee and monitor function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action, discipline, or training.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current, valid licensure as an LVN is required.
• Experience in long‑term healthcare is preferred.
• Management/Supervisory experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Strong written and verbal skills are required.
