Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive and vigilant care to post-operative patients in the PACU.
- Monitor vital signs, manage pain levels, and observe for any adverse effects of anesthesia.
- Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery.
- Educate patients and families about post-anesthesia care, including discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with established healthcare protocols.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license with PACU experience.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols and patient monitoring.
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and escalating patient needs.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
