Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring charge nurse experience and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.

• Active TX RN license or compact license required (temporary license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
• Charge nurse experience required and must be willing to work charge
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)
• RNC certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a 12-bed hospital facility
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Circulate C-section procedures
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed
• Unit supported by a unit tech on each shift and a unit secretary on day shift
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• Facility provides scrubs
• Must maintain a professional appearance with clean, neutral nail polish and natural hairstyles
• Visible body art must be covered when feasible
• No visible piercings other than ears permitted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
