• 24-hour emergency/general practice
• 25,000 square foot state‑or‑the‑art facility with dedicated ICU, 2 surgical suites, 2 ultrasounds, spacious treatment area, and 16 exam rooms
• Radiologist capabilities for daily ultrasounds and a regularly scheduled Cardiologist.
• Access to a network of specialists within VCA
• Located in Sacramento, CA. Sacramento is one of the most diverse cities in the country. Located between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, the city of Sacramento is experiencing rapid growth and is ideally located for weekend gateways

As a VCA Associate, eligible full‑time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including:

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 to $260,000.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
