Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a service‑driven Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents through the leasing process—from initial inquiry, through property tours, application processing, and move‑in day—and to support a strong sense of community. This role is located at Heritage at Valley Ranch, a 264‑unit, garden‑style community in Irving, Texas.

• Welcome prospects and conduct personalized property tours, highlighting lifestyle features, community amenities and neighborhood insights.
• Use CRM systems to track leads and follow up with care and attention.
• Prepare and process lease applications, documents and renewals.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, tour strategies and promotions.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitors.
• Support smooth move‑ins and move‑outs, coordinate resident events and activities, and deliver personal touches such as welcome kits and birthday notes.
• Gather feedback to improve the resident experience.
• Maintain leasing office, models and amenity spaces in a clean, tour‑ready state.
• Partner with maintenance and operations to address property needs.
• Manage leasing paperwork and maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Track occupancy data and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Monitor KPIs, identify performance improvements, and manage online reviews and resident concerns.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, leasing events and team meetings; stay current with industry trends; be a team player who supports as needed.

• Experience in leasing, hospitality or customer service.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal and in‑person.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
• Weekend availability required (two weekdays off).
• A valid real‑estate license or willingness to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• $19.00 – $21.00 per hour plus commission for every home leased.
