MS-Bartender role at Mexican Sugar. Fresh ingredients, the best tequila and a sultry showmanship are the key ingredients for a Mexican Sugar Bartender. We’re looking for a smart, stylish and experienced bartender to transport our guests with a Fresher, Lighter, Better Latin experience. Our bartenders stay two steps ahead of guests’ needs and know that small batch, fresh crafted cocktails paired with luxurious service are la clave to success.

Responsibilities

Channel the sultry Mexican comfort of our restaurants
Possess unparalleled tequila, wine and beer knowledge
Craft cocktails from only the freshest ingredients
Remain two steps ahead of guest needs
Inspire teammates to ask them for help
Balance showmanship and efficiency in service

Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years bartending experience (LBW experience)
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Ability to read, write and speak Spanish is a plus
Stand for long periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
Maintain a current Food Handler s Certification and TABC Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
