Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark in a variety of retail environments. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

• Starting pay $13.50–$14.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
• Part‑time position with a variable schedule.
• Average weekly hours 8–16.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

• Day‑to‑day engagement: using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication, reporting, feedback, and surveys.
• Holiday support: additional days and extended hours around Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on holidays and weekends.
• Department resets: assist with installations, fixture building, relocating card departments, and resetting sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration: support other merchandisers in the field organization as needed.

Physically demanding: must push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally. May kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday and climb stairs or steps.

• At least 18 years old.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb frequently and 50 lb occasionally.
• Operate a digital handheld device.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
