Position

Retail Store Manager – we are currently looking for the right candidate to join our Team.

Pay
: $14.70 to $25.00 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS). A Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, promoting a positive/productive environment, leading, coaching, and developing store employees, recruiting top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations/satisfaction. The Store Manager analyzes financial statements to meet goals and adjust as necessary, and commits to asset protection and store procedures.

The role includes promoting the business with internal and external marketing tools and handling a variety of merchandise in a jewelry and general merchandise environment, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. Pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience. Reports to the area District Manager.

Responsibilities of a Store Manager

This is a representative list of general duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
  • Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
  • Open/close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring procedures protect assets.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing loans.
  • Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
  • Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
  • Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity of loans.
  • Complete assigned tasks and self-development training as requested.
  • Communicate clearly with employees to align with the store’s mission and profit objectives.
  • Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) in compliance with laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • Occasionally assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
  • Minimum Age: 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
  • Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week; hours are not guaranteed and depend on business needs.
