Location:
Irving, TX.
The Business Development Representative will support the Sales Team in establishing and maintaining contact between Orion
180 Insurance and the agency force for their assigned territory. This role focuses on promoting the Orion
180 products, assisting in the growth of agents contracted, and training agencies on products and services. Responsibilities include high-volume agency prospecting, managing inbound inquiries, and administering the sales system.
- Prospect and qualify new agency partners using phone outreach, email, and social media.
- Support producers by nurturing relationships and offering product information and incentives.
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns to attract new partners.
- Generate a pipeline of new opportunities in collaboration with the Territory Sales Manager.
- Build strong relationships with independent agencies.
- Coordinate meetings and presentations with potential partners.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of interactions and pipeline progress.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
- Report KPIs such as lead generation, meetings scheduled, and opportunities converted.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide materials and support.
- P&C or Mortgage industry sales experience preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to obtain 440 or 220 P&C certification within 90 days.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong phone presence with ability to cold call and close engagements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficient with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and Microsoft Office.
- Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented.
- Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.
