We are seeking a competitive, driven Telecom Account Manager
—someone who thrives both as a Farmer (deepening and expanding existing accounts) and as a Hunter (opening new opportunities).
This role is ideal for a highly driven individual with 5–10 years of telecom sales/account experience
, who understands the telco ecosystem and is ambitious about scaling their career in the AI solutions space.
You will own relationships, revenue, expansion strategy, and client success within your telecom accounts—living in the telco space, speaking the language, and driving growth through insight, hustle, and execution.
Key Responsibilities Account Ownership & Growth- Own a portfolio of telecom clients end-to-end—relationship management, renewals, expansion, and long-term strategic value.
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and actively pursue expansion revenue within existing accounts.
- Hunt for new lines of business and whitespace opportunities within major telecom operators.
- Act as the primary point of contact; build strong, trusted, long-term relationships across executive and operational levels.
- Conduct strategic business reviews, roadmap discussions, and performance analysis to show value and drive growth.
- Develop strategic account plans and execute them with precision—pipeline development, forecasting, and deal advancement.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and manage renewals with favorable terms.
- Become fluent in our AI and automation platforms and how they apply to telco workflows, operations, and digital transformation.
- Translate client challenges into actionable AI-driven solutions and coordinate with internal product/engineering teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and activity logs.
- Ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and ongoing satisfaction for all assigned accounts.
- You consistently exceed revenue targets through both farming and hunting.
- You are recognized by clients as a strategic partner—not just a vendor.
- You discover opportunities others miss and turn them into high-value wins.
- You bring a competitive, energetic, “let’s make it happen” attitude every day.
- You raise the bar for client experience, professionalism, and performance.
- 5–10 years in telecom sales, account management, or technology solutions (required).
- Proven ability to manage relationships in large telco environments.
- Demonstrated success driving revenue within complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
- Strong communication and executive-level presentation abilities.
- Competitive, high-energy personality with strong drive and resilience.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to map client needs to solutions.
- Contract negotiation and deal management skills.
- Technical aptitude—comfortable discussing software, AI, workflows, and telecom operations.
- Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Sales or telecom certifications are a plus.
