Inside Sales Associate

Work Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

MI Windows & Doors, part of MITER Brands, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to support our dealer partners through exceptional customer service and sales support. This role serves as the primary point of contact for dealer orders, customer inquiries, and account support within an assigned territory.
The Inside Sales Associate acts as a critical liaison between customers, Outside Sales Representatives, Production, Credit, Delivery, and other internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where relationship building, problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential to success.
Respond to dealer and customer inquiries accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned dealer accounts and territories.
Partner closely with Outside Sales Representatives to address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues.
Act as a technical resource utilizing CAD drawings, product specifications, and reference materials.
Coordinate with Production, Credit, Transportation, and other internal departments to support order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Conduct outbound calls and proactive customer outreach to strengthen dealer relationships and support sales growth.
Monitor customer accounts and proactively identify opportunities to improve service and communication.
Maintain accurate customer records and account activity within company systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental objectives.
Demonstrate and model MITER Brands' Core Values in all customer and team interactions.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn and navigate ERP, CRM, and other business systems.
Commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience utilizing an enterprise business system.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, building products, or related industries preferred.
CAD drawing experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong computer and data-entry skills.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting sales or account management functions preferred.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and communicating with customers.
Frequent use of phone, computer, and office equipment.
Ability to work additional hours as needed to support business demands.
