Security Program Specialist with Security Clearance

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Office of Security and Integrity (OSI) Threat Management Division (TMD) seeks a Security Program Analyst to support domestic and international USCIS customers in the Central Region. The analyst will provide security program consulting support to OSI, assisting with facility security design, identity control, access management, guard programs, badges, and secure forms.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Operations Security (OPSEC), Active Assailant, and Facility Operational Security planning expertise to OSI Regional Security Chiefs and Field Security Managers.
  • Assist in the quality management and review of Security Plans and Reviews.
  • Develop countermeasures for classified USCIS facility-related surveys, assessments, and data.
  • Support regional OPSEC and active assailant programs with planning, awareness, training, and assessments.
  • Recommend physical security countermeasures or solutions for technical and programmatic challenges.
  • Prepare technical reports, briefs, and papers to support field security program initiatives.
  • Maintain databases, web content, records, and other files as needed.
  • Travel to USCIS locations within the contiguous United States (≤25% of the work schedule annually).
  • Provide monthly status reports summarizing support of physical security programs; prepare trip reports and quarterly or annual reports to support objectives.
  • Analyze trends or issues from security reviews, including secure forms, sensitive property, national security information, application support center, etc.
  • Develop variety of security plans, review them for quality assurance, and ensure adherence to federal and USCIS standards.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Two (2) years of experience providing security program support.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in security protocols and disciplines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal and credit history background check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability determination/security clearance.
