As a Commercial Journeyman, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing various systems and equipment within the facility.

Your daily tasks will include engaging with clients to ensure smooth facility operations. Submit your application today and become a valuable member of our Irving, TX, team! Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
• Install wires, cables, encoders, switches, drives, sensors, encoders, and motor control centers.
• Perform daily electrical maintenance operations of a large-size manufacturing facility.
• Perform daily work in coordination with control engineers and maintenance mechanics.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuits, PLC controllers, encoders, switches, sensors, drives, and motor control centers.
• Read power distribution schematics and diagrams of high voltage and peripheral distribution systems.
• Maintain both A/C and D/C main power systems.
• Install and maintain electrical services ranging from 480 volts AC to 24 volts DC.
• Set new breaker panels and wire up new machines.
• Install new conduit runs using a clock and hand benders.
• Install lighting and motor control circuits, service wiring, feeder, and branch circuit panels within NEC specifications.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and local and federal codes.
• Follow plant policies in accordance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E, Lockout/tag out/tryout safety rules, and confined entry regulations.
• Report and track all maintenance activities in the company's CMMS program.
• Rigid Conduit experience preferred.
• Work with Apprentice electricians and provide guidance.

Qualifications:

• To qualify for the role of Commercial Electrical Journeyman in Irving, TX, US, you must be a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
• A valid Driver's License is a requirement for this position.
• Experience working with PLC controllers is essential.
• It is important to actively promote, support, and enforce ISO 9001 standards relevant to the department.
• A can-do attitude is a must for this role.
• The work environment involves performing duties in a noisy and uncontrolled warehouse setting that may have extreme temperatures and hazardous equipment. Some tasks may also need to be performed outdoors or in unfinished spaces. Compensation: $32 - $50 hourly
