Reefer Diesel Mechanic/Technician
Up to $32/hour depending on experience. 4 DAY Workweek!! 10 Hour Shifts!!

- This position requires experience in Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units.
- As a Reefer Mechanic, you will perform all levels of maintenance services, with the primary focus on refrigeration units such as Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers.
- Be able to test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic test equipment
- Read complex schematics associated with refrigeration equipment
- Identify warrantable repairs and document orders
- Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor trailer maintenance as required
- Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
- Perform system repairs to include engines, hydraulic systems, tires, electrical and A/C.

Reefer Mechanic/Technician Requirements:- Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Must have experience as a reefer or Thermo King/Carrier mechanic
- Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components required
- CDL license Preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic math skills
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Own set of tools
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
