As an MEP Technician, you will be instrumental in the launch of a facility expansion by overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and manufacturing machinery. Your daily efforts will focus on bringing complex systems online, verifying that equipment meets performance standards, and ensuring the consistent reliability of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automation assets.

As an MEP Technician, you will be instrumental in the launch of a facility expansion by overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and manufacturing machinery. Your daily efforts will focus on bringing complex systems online, verifying that equipment meets performance standards, and ensuring the consistent reliability of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automation assets.
We are seeking candidates who bring a robust multi-craft skill set, specifically those with a proven history in industrial environments, robotics, and the commissioning of facility support systems.
Core Duties- Facilitate the installation, initial startup, and validation processes for new manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing challenges to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency during the startup phase.
- Contribute to system verification and equipment acceptance testing protocols.
- Maintain industrial control hardware such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and sensors to keep production lines running smoothly.
- Identify and fix issues within control panels, electrical systems, and electronic components like PCBs.
- Help maintain and troubleshoot automated and robotic systems to ensure high-level manufacturing performance.
- Service and install utility equipment, including piping, valves, motors, and pumps.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of essential facility utilities like cooling water and compressed air systems.
- Utilize technical documentation, such as P&IDs and electrical schematics, to guide installation and repair work.
- Execute adjustments and modifications to equipment to improve overall system reliability and output.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to streamline project integration and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of commissioning tasks, repairs, and equipment performance issues.
- Assist in the development of preventative maintenance programs to support long-term facility reliability.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all safety codes and company regulations.
- Employees are required to provide their own set of tools.
- Possession of an NCCER certification.
- Completion of a two-year vocational program or relevant licensure.
- Current OSHA 10 certification.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks at heights, on lifts, or within confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to remain standing, kneeling, or crawling for long durations.
- Capacity to work effectively in high-temperature environments.
- Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
- MEP Tech I: 2 to 4 years of relevant industry experience.
- MEP Tech II:
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
