Role Overview:

Nationstar is looking for a .NET Developer to support development and enhancements of internal applications. The role involves creating detailed technical documentation, designing specifications, and delivering efficient code with minimal performance impact. Most work will involve new development within existing and new applications.

Candidates must have substantial WPF and Data Binding experience, ideally from multiple projects, as limited experience may not suffice for technical assessments.

Additional Information:

Prior mortgage industry experience is preferred but not required. The manager prefers candidates from smaller shops (1-3 people) who are versatile and adaptable, as larger institutional backgrounds may lead to pigeonholing. The position is a 6+ month contract-to-hire, with candidates needing to work without sponsorship. The company aims to shift their contractor-to-FTE ratio from 60/40 to 30/70, emphasizing internal knowledge retention.

Follow-up interview scheduled for Thursday, 11-12-15 at 8:30. Limited competition exists as the role is not yet widely advertised in the VMS. Previous resumes lacked sufficient WPF experience, focusing mainly on limited projects or smaller applications.

This environment is fast-paced, with numerous ongoing projects, many structured in 90-day sprints, and more projects expected from the business side.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years as a software developer or programmer analyst
• Deep knowledge of  Framework and related technologies
• Proficiency in WPF is mandatory
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
• Experience with object-oriented design, patterns, and service-oriented architecture (preferred)
• Knowledge of classic ASP, VB, COM/DCOM, TFS, VSS is a plus
