In this role you will be part of a multi‑disciplinary globally located development team to support, develop and implement Gartner’s quantitative analysis platform in support of the company’s research and advisory organization.

• Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of software applications and services.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and assist in creating technical specifications.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
• Support project teams by assisting in the planning and execution of technology‑based projects.
• Assist in the development of plans for technology and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
• Engage in technical activities such as estimating, planning, designing, building, testing, and migrating solutions into production.
• Work with product owners and business analysts to understand and refine business requirements for technical design.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers, focusing on identifying strengths and areas for improvement.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience in software development.
• 6–8 years of experience in software development, including full‑stack application development.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying software solutions, with active participation in large‑scale projects.
• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with all phases of the application development lifecycle.
• Strong software development skills with a solid foundation in object‑oriented design, and experience in architecting software applications.
• Preferably a data science background and a willingness to learn.
• Must have strong experience in Python development.
• Broad familiarity with cloud technologies, AWS preferred.
• Familiarity with IBM’s Planning Analytics (TM1) and/or Microsoft Tabular data models is considered a plus.
• Experience with integrating applications using GenAI APIs is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• As a member of a globally distributed team, you will be expected to work independently with daily check‑ins, while having access to support whenever necessary.

• The ability to establish credibility quickly with Business Units as well as IT partners as a passionate change agent with good managerial skills.
• Must be familiar with systems scope and project objectives to ensure design, build and test of a robust system.
• Understand the strategic direction to ensure that new features and functions are implemented to meet business needs.
