How you’ll make an impact

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Content Enablement team, you will design and develop code for tools and services that scale to support our mission to create powerful content solutions. This role is central to protecting our platform from spin fraud, unfair royalty payouts, and degraded user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product, science, and design teams, define and lead feature development, drive projects from concept through implementation, write automated unit and integration tests, and deploy services directly within AWS infrastructure to enhance performance and reliability.

You will also mentor junior engineers and foster engineering best practices through pair programming and collaboration.

What you’ll do
  • Design and implement scalable services, filters, and tooling to detect and prevent automated/bot traffic across listener behavior.

  • Contribute to our long‑term architecture and spin fraud prevention strategy by developing scalable detection frameworks and maintaining high system reliability.

  • Help define and lead development of features in collaboration with product and design.

  • Mentor junior engineers on engineering best practices.

  • Write automated unit and integration tests.

  • Deploy services into the AWS infrastructure.

  • Pair with other team members when necessary.

What you’ll need
  • 4–6 years of experience developing Java services and web applications.

  • Ability to lead cross‑functional projects.

  • Ability to design, develop, test and deploy web applications using common standards and frameworks.

  • Strong experience with AWS, including deploying applications using services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, Dynamo

    DB, Cloud Watch, Elasti Cache, and IAM.

  • Strong experience with both SQL (RDS, Aurora) and No

    SQL (Redis, Elasti Cache) databases.

  • Familiarity with AWS networking, infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Cloud Formation or Terraform), and monitoring best practices.

  • Experience in fraud detection, trust & safety is a plus.

  • Experience with writing automated tests.

  • Experience with web‑based API design and development (e.g., Graph

    QL, REST).

  • Experience building stream processing systems using Kafka or AWS‑native services.

  • Experience with modern front‑end frameworks and component‑based architecture.
