Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database software (Cassandra, Mongo, Elastic Search).
- Should have working experience in Python or any equivalent scripting language to develop and maintain data pipelines in/out of No
SQL. - Should have working knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Linux OS.
- Work with the Development team to help determine and deploy the best datastore technology and data model strategy for their needs.
- Work with the Development team to understand the application requirement and design database schema accordingly.
- Manage the operations for both development and production databases.
- Create and configure alerts to health check the servers and the databases running on them.
- Design, implement, maintain, and automate the appropriate backup and recovery architecture as required.
- Work with internal teams to plan and schedule application upgrades.
- Troubleshoot No
SQL issues and performance bottlenecks. - Provide 24 x 7 on-call support for any production issues.
