In this two‑year rotational program, you’ll start in July and gain exposure to multiple software development teams, building a broad skill set that accelerates your career growth.

Program Overview

Rotational assignments allow you to discover the best fit for your skills and long‑term career goals ’ll work in an agile software development environment, coding with leading‑edge technologies, supporting testing cycles, and participating in peer code reviews. Training is provided throughout the program to help you understand Citi’s platforms, processes, and technical foundation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high quality, scalable software solutions using leading‑edge technologies in an agile environment.
  • Write code that meets quality standards, support testing cycles, and aid post‑production deployment.
  • Use appropriate tools to test, debug, and review code.
  • Collaborate with a cohort of new hires to learn about Citi’s tools, processes, and technical requirements.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of development practices and contribute to shared knowledge.
Technology Exposure
  • Microservices Developer: Java, Spring Framework, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • iOS: Swift, Xcode, MVC Architecture
  • Android: Java, Android Studio, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Java Web Services
  • Generative AI tools: Git Hub, Co‑Pilot for code generation and automated code reviews
  • Web: Angular (latest), Eclipse, Java, JSP, Type Script, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
  • Data Analytics: Splunk, Tableau, Adobe Analytics
  • Cloud adoption: APIs deployed on AWS and other cloud providers
  • Engineering Excellence: Minimum Development and Operational standards
  • Architecture & Design: Microservices, APIs, Spring MVC/Boot/Cloud, REST
  • CI/CD & Tools: JIRA, Zephyr, Bit Bucket, Team City, uDeploy, Artifactory, Open Shift, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Event streaming: Kafka, Solace, Aeron

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Graduate between December 2025 and May 2026.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred.
  • Require no sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or in the future.
  • Problem solver who thrives on innovation and tackling challenges.
  • Global outlook and willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
  • Excellent communication, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and ability to work well within diverse teams.
  • Ability to pass technical interviews with basic algorithmic programming exercises.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, with prior experience on agile teams desirable.

Annual Salary: $90,000 USD (Range: $80,000 – $115,000).
