** JOB SUMMARY****:
** This role focuses on building and supporting fuels back-office systems that power 7‐Eleven’s wholesale, fleet, supply, accounting, and transportation operations. As Technical Lead for Fuels Supply, you will design, build, and optimize the Supply Integration Hub, a core platform orchestrating data and workflows across the fuels supply chain. You’ll also lead the implementation and integration of the Right Angle ETRM platform and the Best Buy supply optimization solution.

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role where you guide engineers through architecture and technical decisions while partnering closely with vendors, business stakeholders, and engineering leadership, with an emphasis on strong engineering fundamentals and rapid domain learning.
** KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES****:**
* ** Technical Design & Architecture:
** Lead solution design and architecture for the Supply Integration Hub and related fuels supply applications. Own technical decisions for cloud-native microservices, API integrations, event-driven pipelines, and data flows between internal systems and external platforms (Right Angle, Best Buy, OPIS, DTN).
* ** Hands-On Development:
** Actively contribute production code in Java Spring / Spring Boot, Node.js, React, or Python. Build and maintain RESTful APIs, Kafka-based messaging, and ETL pipelines that power the fuels supply ecosystem.
* ** Integration Leadership:
** Drive integration architecture between the Supply Integration Hub and COTS platforms. Collaborate with vendor implementation teams to define interface contracts, data mappings, and reconciliation processes.
* ** Code Quality & Engineering Standards:
** Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns (MVC/MVVM), and peer-review practices. Champion test-driven development, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices.
* ** Mentoring & Technical Guidance:
** Mentor engineers on modern engineering practices, cloud architecture, and domain-specific knowledge. Conduct architecture reviews, pair programming sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums.
* ** Cloud & Dev Ops:
** Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure/AWS, including container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS), infrastructure-as-code, and observability (monitoring, alerting, logging).
* ** Data Architecture:
** Guide data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning across PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and No

SQL data stores. Ensure data integrity across the supply chain data landscape.
* ** Agile Delivery:
** Participate in and support Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Provide effort estimates, decompose epics into stories, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across sprints.

** Translate complex technical concepts for business partners and leadership. Communicate risks, trade-offs, and progress with clarity and transparency.
