Marketing Technology Engineer

Our client is seeking a Marketing Technology Engineer to join their team. As a Marketing Technology Engineer, you will be part of the Marketing Technology transformation initiative supporting the replacement of several legacy technologies with newer applications. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on engineering mindset, strong real-time data streaming experience, and the ability to build AI-driven automation that connects martech execution across the Google ecosystem.

Marketing Technology Engineer

Irving, Texas

• Build production-ready pipeline components that connect client-side tag sources (Meta Router), event streaming (Pub/Sub), and batch feeds into Big Query and Cloud Spanner.
• Develop and optimize agentic decisioning logic inside Google Reasoning Engine to support real-time offer prioritization, content metadata, and dynamic campaign generation.
• Integrate decision outputs with Growth Loop (Audience Membership & Segment Syndication), Optimizely (Active feature flags & targeting rules), and downstream destination platforms (REACH, GMP, Ad-Tech, Real-Time App Overlays).
• Work hands-on with Vertex AI modeling and Python application coding, including integrations across the Google Cloud stack.
• Collaborate daily with technical leads, implementation teams, and vendor partners (Google, Growth Loop, Meta Router) through standups, code reviews, and architecture refinement discussions.

• Hands-on software/data engineering experience in modern cloud environments, with GCP preferred.
• Strong experience with Python and the GCP core stack, including Big Query, Cloud Spanner, and Pub/Sub.
• Hands-on experience managing real-time event pipelines and API integrations, including tag routing systems (Meta Router, Segment, or Tealium).
• Working knowledge of marketing technology tools such as audience segmentation (Growth Loop) and dynamic optimization platforms (Optimizely).
• Knowledge of agentic AI / agentic agents and an understanding of AI-driven automation and advanced intelligent systems, with a strong Mar Tech background;
  AdTech experience is highly preferred.

• Work on low-latency profile querying and production pipeline development using Cloud Spanner and Pub/Sub.
• Contribute to a Marketing Technology transformation initiative replacing legacy systems with modern applications.
