Java Software Engineer, You will:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Build and support REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
• Contribute to the modernization and consolidation of multiple existing applications into a unified platform.
• Stabilize and improve front-end applications using React and modern UI development practices.
• Develop and maintain automation, data processing, and integration components using Python.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and distributed Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices around secure coding, performance optimization, and application reliability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot to improve engineering productivity.
• Support cloud adoption initiatives and contribute to the team's growing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities.
• Assist with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and application support activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• REST APIs
• Microservices architecture
• Experience with React.js and modern front-end development frameworks.
• Experience building scalable web applications and distributed systems.
• Understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, data processing, or AI/ML-related initiatives.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building cloud-native applications and services on GCP.
• Exposure to AI/ML services and AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot.
• Experience with Open Shift, Kubernetes, or containerized application deployments.
• Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.
• Understanding of data pipelines and ETL development.
• Experience supporting application modernization and platform consolidation initiatives.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $38/hr to $43/hr
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
