McKesson’s Undergraduate Intern Program provides an opportunity to experience the healthcare industry first‑hand and apply academic knowledge in a real‑world software engineering environment. Through project‑based work across key business initiatives, you will gain hands‑on experience developing and testing software solutions, including responsible applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, build a professional network, and strengthen the technical and interpersonal skills needed to succeed in a dynamic and growing business.

Paid Internship. Full‑time work. Position is located in Irving TX, Columbus OH, & Pittsburgh PA. No company sponsored housing, relocation, visa sponsorship or Green Card assistance available.

The intern will be assigned a project‑focused opportunity aligned with a current priority within the McKesson Pharmacy Systems Engineering team. The work may include designing, developing, testing, or evaluating software and AI‑enabled capabilities that improve engineering productivity, operational workflows, or user experiences. This is a hands‑on opportunity to apply software engineering, data, and responsible AI practices in a dynamic and growing business.

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program for the duration of the internship to be eligible.
• 3.0 minimum GPA.
• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program applicable to Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field and entering your Junior or Senior year.
• Coding experience in JavaScript, Python, or another programming or scripting language.
• Understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, data structures, and software development fundamentals.

• Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute in an agile development environment.
