PRIMARY

PURPOSE:

Provide supervisor support under the direct supervision of the Director of Transportation. Oversee maintenance and repair of district vehicles and equipment, manage inventory and supplies, and monitor resource allocation within budget guidelines.

• High School diploma or GED
• Texas School Bus Driver Certification
• Valid Texas CDL - Class A or B with P and S endorsements or ability to obtain within one year
• Preferred:
  Diesel Mechanic Certification, ASE Certification, TASBT Master’s Certification

• Must be 21 years old
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle systems
• Ability to perform repairs independently
• Computer skills:
  Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Experience:
  
  5+ years in automotive or related field, with supervisory experience preferred

Requires physical activity including lifting up to 40 lbs, working inside and outside, exposure to weather, fumes, and chemicals, and working in various postures.

Full-time, Mid-Senior level management role within the education industry. Responsible for safety, maintenance, and supervision of transportation fleet.
