The main purpose of the Receiving Clerk is to ensure the proper receiving of chemicals, materials and devices in a safe and effective manner and in accordance with procedures.

Receiving of Chemicals, Materials and Devices

• Inspect all received packages for damages & match information with paperwork
• Receive the products following SOP guidelines and notify QS for inspection
• Ensure that the quarantine, inventory, and health code stickers are applied to each material

Data Entry of Bulk Stock

• Enter inventory levels for bulk items, verify all info on received and pulled quantities
• Obtain work orders or product requests and locate bulk items
• Verify all information on received and pull quantities

Perform Inventory Counts

• Perform inventory counts upon request, verify quantities in Syspro
• Help in executing year end physical inventory count
• Take pictures of drums to keep record in case of discrepancies

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse environment, receiving experience in chemical/pharmaceutical or regulated environment is an asset
• Heavy lifting of up to 60lbs is required daily
• Ability to use forklift, cherry picker, and other powered equipment required
• Accountable, dependable, team player with great communications skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Knowledge of SYSPRO/MEDWMS an asset
• Experience with FEDEX/UPS software an asset
