Pharmacy Assistant (Pharmacy Fulfillment / Order Packing)
Location:
Irving, TX 75063 (On-site)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm (40 hrs/week) Pay: $19.00/hr
Now hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to support a high-volume pharmacy fulfillment operation in Irving, TX. This Pharmacy Assistant role focuses on accurate packing, labeling, and preparing medication orders for shipment in a clean, process-driven environment. If you have strong attention to detail and experience in order fulfillment, warehouse, production, or shipping, you can succeed quickly in this Pharmacy Assistant opportunity.
Responsibilities- Pack medication orders accurately according to instructions and workflow requirements
- Place medications into correct packaging and shipping containers; prevent mix-ups and damage
- Label packages correctly and stage orders for shipment
- Handle medications and supplies carefully while following safety and quality procedures
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving boxes/inventory throughout the work area
- Operate a pallet jack safely when required
- Lift and carry packages up to 30 lbs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing/fulfillment area
- Follow confidentiality and compliance expectations in a medication-handling environment
- High School Diploma/GED preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience in warehouse, production, picking/packing, shipping/receiving, order fulfillment, inventory, logistics strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and consistent attendance
- Ability to stand/walk for the shift and lift up to 30 lbs
- Able to follow written SOPs and work at a steady pace
- Basic computer skills and comfort working in a structured workflow
