Bring your sales expertise to work that matters: helping people start therapy.
At CBT Collective, you’ll speak with people who have already reached out for help. Your role is to build trust, understand what they need, and guide them toward starting care with an appropriate clinician.
For a strong consultative salesperson, this is an opportunity to represent a service you believe in, work with warm inquiries and professional referrals, and earn performance-based compensation for work that matters. You’ll join a growing team where coaching, accountability, and thoughtful client service go hand in hand.
About CBT CollectiveCBT Collective is a growing mental health practice providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments, with in-person and virtual care across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Our clinical team includes internationally recognized experts, authors, researchers, and trainers who have helped shape the field of CBT. That depth of expertise gives you something substantive to stand behind when helping prospective clients understand our care and choose a clinician.
We bring the same commitment to quality to the entire client experience, starting with the first conversation.
The RoleAs an Account Executive - known internally as a Clinical Coordinator - you’ll often be the first person a prospective client or family speaks with. It might be a parent worried about their child, a professional struggling with anxiety, or someone reaching out for therapy for the first time.

This is a phone-intensive, consultative sales role with clear conversion goals and performance expectations. Success requires excellent listening, confident sales skills, consistent follow-through, and a sincere interest in mental health. You’ll help people move forward while respecting their decisions and recognizing when our services may not be the right fit.
This is a nonclinical role. You’ll provide informed, compassionate guidance and partner with our clinical team whenever a situation requires clinical judgment.
What You’ll Do- Lead consultation calls. Build rapport, ask thoughtful questions, and understand each person’s needs, preferences, and barriers to starting therapy.
- Guide clinician matching. Develop a strong understanding of our clinicians’ specialties, approaches, fees, and availability, and coordinate matching with clinical input when needed.
- Communicate value and address concerns. Explain our services clearly, navigate questions about cost and readiness, and confidently guide suitable clients toward booking.
- Make the process understandable. Walk clients through session fees, out-of-network benefits, reimbursement processes, paperwork, and scheduling.
- Own your pipeline through the first appointment. Respond promptly, follow up consistently, manage clients awaiting availability, and keep every inquiry moving toward a clear next step.
- Deliver reliable handoffs. Coordinate with clinicians, operations, and the partnerships team so prospective clients and incoming referrals receive attentive, consistent support.
- Protect sensitive information. Follow HIPAA requirements and practice policies, explain privacy procedures within your role, and elevate clinical or safety concerns through established…
