In this job, you’ll provide support for new offerings, rates, and energy management tools for our 5 million customers. The role involves employing advanced analytics and tools to achieve project management goals, supporting the Pricing Implementation Team in designing, developing, and implementing significant pricing initiatives—including rate comparisons—and working closely with project managers on data requests and ad‑hoc analyses.

You will analyze output data to meet project objectives, maintain dashboards, manage memorandum accounts, update cost forecasts, reconcile discrepancies, and enforce processes to maintain compliance. The position requires collaboration across the company to provide assumptions for forecasts, prepare write-ups of budget progress and forecasts for filings, data requests, and quarterly/monthly reports, and identify and resolve overspend/underspend issues. Base pay range

Responsibilities
  • Provides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiatives
  • Develops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboards
  • Monitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness to track project/program costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review
  • Delivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests such as audits
  • Coordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered to form the basis for decision‑making on organizational priorities and needs
  • Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of the department and/or operating unit
  • Develops and maintains systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysis
  • Develops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programs
  • Ensures the protection of physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets, and proper management of private customer data, proprietary information, and other highly sensitive data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience performing business operations analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Experience with business analysis involving identifying and shaping analytical project needs and metrics, identifying trends, and arriving at solutions rooted in information
  • Experience working with large datasets (e.g., containing data for several hundred thousand accounts)
  • Advanced experience with analytical tools such as Excel, Access, including pivot tables
  • Experience using advanced analytical tools such as SAS, Power BI
  • Experience with budgets including forecasting, reconciliation, accruals, etc.
  • Experience with customer‑facing activities, projects or processes that directly impact customer satisfaction
  • Experience in a regulated environment, including involvement in regulatory and legislative interpretation and drafting verbiage for regulatory filings
  • Experience developing presentations and reports that synthesize complex information into concise messages
  • Demonstrates strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning
