The Community Development Executive (CDE) plays a key role in strengthening Rize FCU's presence within the communities we serve. This role focuses on delivering financial education to adults and actively representing the Credit Union through ongoing participation in community events. The CDE manages a portfolio of Community-Based Organization (CBO) partnerships and identifies new opportunities to support Rize FCU's mission, deepen member relationships, and drive organizational growth.

What You'll Do Financial Capability- Build and maintain relationships with CBOs, civic groups, universities, and SEGs to plan and deliver financial education workshops.
- Collaborate with Marketing to promote financial education programs and campaigns.
- Present Rize FCU products, services, and the Credit Union difference while identifying member financial needs.
- Cross‑sell products and provide follow‑up support to members, non‑members, and community partners.
- Deliver financial education presentations to support community financial health.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to enhance or suggest new products and services.
- Develop local partnerships to position Rize FCU as a leader in financial inclusion and community development.
- Coordinate and schedule workshops with SEGs and CBO partners, and participate in community events.
- Track, measure, and report on CBO relationships, workshops, and member engagement.
- Maintain logs of activities and outcomes, providing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Monitor progress toward financial education goals and share updates with branch managers.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Three to five years similar or related experience; financial services and successful sales experience or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have experience presenting to a large audience.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills desired.
- A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required.
- In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with members, community partners, and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Must be able to travel 60% of the time locally in Southern California or Southern Nevada.
