Ambulance Dispatcher

Overview

First Rescue Ambulance is seeking ambulance dispatchers for our Irwindale operations. We currently operate BLS, ALS and CCT ambulances in LA County and Orange County. We are looking for a candidates who will work with our current management team to facilitate our increasing size, volume, and professionalism in the Southern California area. Full and Part Time shifts available.

The Ambulance Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching non-emergency medical transportation services for BLS, ALS and Critical Care patients. He or she will be required to navigate online portals, answer incoming calls and efficiently utilize available units to various locations. The successful candidate will work closely with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to clients.

Attention to detail and the ability to multitask is paramount to this position.

• EMT, EMD or ETC certification
• CPR Certification
• REQUIRED:
  
  Must have previous experience in EMS, either as an EMT or dispatcher
• Must have knowledge of LA/OC Freeways and hospital locations, excellent computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple online portals. Ability to multitask and to speak clearly and professionally with incoming callers.
• Full and Part Time positions - Days, Evenings and Weekends
