- Machine, repair, and maintain very large plastic injection molds, dies, and tooling components
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary adjustments or modifications
- Perform mold assembly, polishing, and preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production staff to support manufacturing needs
- Ensure tooling meets quality, safety, and production requirements
- 5+ years of tool room or mold maintenance experience (plastic injection molding preferred)
- Ability to use Solid Works and Mastercam
- Strong knowledge of machining
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use precision inspection equipment
- Experience with mold repair, polishing, and preventive maintenance
- Solid understanding of materials such as tool steel, aluminum, and plastics
- Journeyman Tool & Die / Mold Maker certification is a plus but not required
