Arborist – Pierre Landscape Construction

Irwindale, CA – Commercial landscape construction and maintenance leader seeking a skilled Arborist to maintain tree and plant health across our projects. The Arborist will work closely with Project Managers, clients, and field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant tree care.

• Assess and maintain tree health, identify structural concerns, pests, or disease, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform pruning, removals, and other tree care services following industry best practices.
• Conduct regular site walks to monitor tree and plant health, irrigation efficiency, and work quality.
• Coach field teams on safe tree work, proper pruning techniques, and general plant care standards.
• Champion workplace safety by enforcing company and OSHA standards and performing jobsite safety walks.
• Assist Project Managers with planning, site logistics, and coordination of specialized tree care services.
• Track tree maintenance, treatment logs, and site progress reports.
• Recommend process enhancements to strengthen tree care and maintenance standards.

• Certified Arborist and/or strong horticultural experience required.
• Proven field or crew leadership experience in arboriculture, landscape maintenance, or related field.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of pruning standards, plant/tree health diagnostics, and irrigation systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience.
