Librarian Assistant

We are in search of a detail-oriented and organized Librarian Assistant to join our team in Isa Town. As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing and organizing library materials, providing assistance to library patrons, and performing administrative tasks. A biometric passport is required for this position.

• Assist the librarian in cataloging and classifying library materials
• Help with shelving books and maintaining the library's organization
• Provide support to library patrons by answering questions, locating resources, and issuing library cards
• Process new materials and maintain accurate records of borrowed items
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning books and repairing damaged materials
• Assist with planning and promoting library events and programs
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing reports

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field preferred
• Prior experience working in a library setting is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
• Proficient in using computer systems for cataloging and data entry purposes
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Biometric passport is required.

$1800 per month without accommodation.
