Contract Librarian

A reputable library in Isa Town is seeking a qualified Contract Librarian to join our team. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for providing library services to patrons, organizing and maintaining library materials and assisting with research inquiries. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

• Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
• Organize and maintain library materials according to established systems
• Assist with research inquiries and provide reference services
• Create and maintain accurate records of library transactions
• Collaborate with other librarians to develop programs and events for the community
• Stay updated on current trends in the field of librarianship

• Proven experience as a librarian or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of library cataloging systems and information retrieval methods
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Experience working in contract positions
• Knowledge of Arabic language
• Familiarity with local community resources
• Visa sponsorship available for non-national applicants
