Merchandiser, Retail

We are currently searching for a skilled and motivated Merchandiser to join our team in Isa Town. As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed and promoted in a visually appealing and organized manner while also maintaining adequate stock levels.

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective merchandising strategies
• Conduct market research to stay updated on current trends and competitor products
• Create eye-catching displays to attract customers and increase sales
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking
• Maintain product placement according to company standards and planograms
• Train sales staff on product features and benefits
• Track and analyze sales data, making recommendations for improvement
• Build strong relationships with store managers to negotiate prime product placement

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
• Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and best practices
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field is preferred
