Cashier, Retail

We are in need of a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store in Isa Town. As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong math and communication skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

• Greet customers and provide friendly efficient service
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of transactions
• Handle returns and exchanges in a timely manner
• Ensure that the register area is clean and organized
• Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock items
• Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance
• Resolve customer complaints or elevate to management if necessary
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred but not required
• Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once Basic computer skills for processing transactions and maintaining records
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

The salary for this position is $1700 per month with accommodation provided.
