Florist

The role of a florist is to create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings birthdays and funerals. As a florist you will be responsible for sourcing and selecting the freshest and most unique flowers creating stunning bouquets and arrangements based on customer preferences and providing excellent customer service.

• Source and select high-quality flowers from local suppliers or garden centers
• Arrange flowers in a variety of styles and designs including bouquets centerpieces wreaths and corsages
• Consult with customers to understand their requirements and provide recommendations based on their budget and occasion
• Create custom floral arrangements according to customer preferences
• Maintain inventory of flowers plants and other supplies to ensure availability for orders
• Handle transactions with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times
• Follow proper care instructions for flowers to maintain freshness and quality

• Proven experience as a florist or related role is preferred but not required
• Passion for flowers and creativity in arranging them
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Physical strength to lift heavy objects such as flower buckets
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of different types of flowers their characteristics care instructions and seasonal availability
• Flexibility in working hours including weekends and holidays
