Data Analyst (Isleworth, England, United Kingdom)
Data Solutions Analysts support Comcast Global Audit (CGA) by working with data to identify risks and improve business processes. Analysts assist with data analysis, reporting, and automation tasks, supporting audit engagements and projects.
What You Deliver- Complete assigned tasks and support project timelines.
- Discuss audit engagement objectives with CGA team members and recommend data‑analytics approaches.
- Extract, manipulate, transform, model, visualize, and analyze data for the audit lifecycle.
- Identify audit scope areas that can be automated or repeated through data analytics and collaborate with leadership.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
- Analyze data against policies, US GAAP, and legal requirements.
- Apply basic analytical techniques to identify trends and issues.
- Use SQL, Tableau, Python, dbt, and AWS for data tasks.
- Create, document, and execute support process steps and test procedures to ensure accurate deliverables.
- Prepare clear analysis work papers and executive presentations.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Support maintenance of automated data processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn new skills.
- Stay current on data‑analytics trends and emerging technologies.
- Work carefully and take ownership of tasks.
- Apply creative thinking and initiative to prioritize work.
- Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve team activities, tools, and training.
- Keep CGA management informed of findings and status.
- Learn from senior team members and contribute to the team.
- Adhere to CGA and company policies, maintaining integrity.
- Maintain regular attendance; ability to work nights, weekends and variable schedules.
- Travel up to 20% as needed.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Show respect to team members and clients.
- Assist teammates in areas beyond direct assignments when necessary.
- Collaborate in virtual environments across locations.
- Educate audit team members on data analytics.
- Commit to continuous self‑improvement with leadership guidance.
- Learn IT controls and cyber‑security concepts.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent coursework and experience). - Work Experience:
2–5 years in data analysis or related role.
