Hours:
Full-time, 35 hours per week This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptionally organised and highly detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities and takes pride in making sure nothing falls through the cracks. We're looking for someone who is naturally proactive, forward-thinking and always two steps ahead. You'll be the person ensuring projects move forward, deadlines are met, actions are followed up and stakeholders receive a consistently professional service.
About the Role Working closely with senior leaders, members, committees and external stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating policy, communications and PR activity across the organisation. You will help ensure meetings, consultations, publications, media activity and member communications are delivered efficiently, professionally and on time. Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating policy projects, consultations and working groups Organising meetings, agendas and follow-up actions Taking and coordinating meeting notes, ensuring actions are tracked and completed Managing multiple deadlines across concurrent work streams Maintaining accurate trackers, databases and planning documents Supporting the production of thought leadership content and consultation responses Coordinating member communications and stakeholder engagement activity Managing website content updates and Linked In activity Issuing press communications and monitoring media coverage Producing reports and updates on communications, policy and stakeholder activity About You This role requires exceptional organisational capability and meticulous attention to detail.
You'll be someone who naturally spots the small things, takes ownership of tasks and keeps everything moving. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
Essential Skills & Experience Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. To demonstrate this skill, when completing your cover letter please include the word “Pension” at the end. Experience managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Experience of organising meetings and following up on actions Proven ability to coordinate complex projects, meetings or work streams Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience maintaining accurate records, databases, trackers and spreadsheets Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders Ability to work independently, use initiative and proactively solve problems Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook A highly professional, dependable and flexible approach Desirable skills and experience
Experience with in policy, communications, public affairs or PR environments Experience working with committees, boards or membership organisations Social media and content management experience Experience using tools such as;
Canva or similar graphic design/content creation software - AI Tools to support meeting notes and/or admin tasks - experience managing organisation social media channels.
