The appointed SEN TA – Islington will provide tailored support to pupils with EHCPs, including those with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs. The school is committed to high-quality education and training, offering regular CPD and development pathways. As a SEN TA – Islington, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils feel supported, understood, and able to access the curriculum.

What you’ll be doing :- Delivering 1:1 and small group SEN support
- Implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Liaising with SENCO, teachers, and external professionals
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN or SEMH
- Confident using de‑escalation and behaviour strategies
- Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
