A supportive school in Islington is looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. They need someone patient, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping pupils with additional needs thrive.

This isn’t about sitting on the sidelines. It’s about being right there, building trust, creating structure, and helping children feel safe enough to learn.

• Supporting a pupil 1:1 or leading small group interventions
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Adapting tasks so every child can access learning
• Using positive behaviour strategies to keep things steady

Some experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language needs would be ideal. Most important though, is your attitude. Calm. Kind. Consistent.

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Stay grounded when things get busy
• Build relationships quickly and naturally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
